Clandon Music Festival was founded by local resident and opera singer, Stephen Fort. It aims to support the cultural life of the villages of Clandon by employing some of the country’s finest musicians to give enjoyable and imaginative concerts that support the well-being of the community and raise money for charitable causes.
The Festival features secular concerts, recordings, and religious services, each of which highlights the value of music and the various roles it plays in people’s lives, be it to entertain, educate or enhance one’s spiritual practice.
Bringing together the interdependent areas of society, the Festival sees the church, local businesses, artists, residents and volunteers all join forces and support one another through the act of making music.
